Why regular health checks are essential

Starting to have sex means you're moving into a new stage in your life and have to actively take an interest in what's going on inside your body.

Whichever method of contraception you choose, you will have a follow up appointment fairly soon after for another check up. Usually it's within 12 weeks. Do not miss this appointment, it is very important.

After that you should have a check-up at least once a year, or more often if you're very active sexually.

Regular medical check-ups are essential so that you can take good care of your reproductive system and long term health.

What check-ups are for
